Plain Text (“HCFA-1500 Print Image”) EDI Text file to submit to any ECS service accepting standard “HCFA-1500 Print Images” for submission.
ANSI-837 Direct to submit ANSI formatted files direct to carriers. This is especially useful for those with “pay per use” clearinghouses that charge per carrier. You can submit ANSI direct to a certain carrier that allows it to keep costs down.
