Now available & automated in the December 2012 refresh! You can easily and correctly report PQRS for Medicare (or other carriers). The necessary CPT G-codes have been added to your system along with logic to prompt for selecting the correct code when posting charges/visit info for a patient that was designated for PQRS reporting. This will ensure that you insert the CPT G-codes as needed as well as record the correct ones based on previously used codes.
PQRS Reporting & Participation Overview (12/26/2012 update, 1/2/2013 update adds two more G-codes)
You participate in PQRS (Medicare 1/1/2013 requirement) by reporting on the three two(2) measures applicable to DCs on the claim forms (HCFA or EDI claim). There is no registration process for PQRS. The measures are Measure #124 Health Information Technology, Measure #131 Pain Assessment and Follow-up & Measure #182 Functional Outcome Assessment. Note that Measure #124 requirement was removed in late December and should not be reported.
To participate you must report each visit on measures #131 and #182. To report you submit a G-code (special CPT code) on your HCFA claim form in box-24. This is done for each visit date for both Measures. If you do NOT successfully report on the PQRS measures in 50% of your claims from 1/1/13 to 12/31/13 you will be PENALIZED 1.5% on all Medicare patients beginning in 2015!
Please note that certain removable hard-drives such as Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex & WD Western Digital MyDrive come with automated “backup” software that self-installs (often without you really knowing) that can create problems with Microsoft SQL Server (the database engine powering ChiroPulse365).
If you are using these drives for backup it is urgent to remove the autorun files as shown below. Simply delete them from the usb removable drive or move them to a newly created subfolder) to stop the “auto start” of any backup software from removable drives.
Welcome to the ChiroPulse365 Homepage where you will find information on our software. Please use the top links as well as Member Center & “pages of interest” on the right.

These instructions are to install the Microsoft SQL Express 2005 Database Engine (featured with Windows 7/Vista on Windows XP. Right click over the ChiroServerTools & Backup icon and in the popup menu select properties. Now click “Compatibility” tab and check “Run this program as an administrator“.
Now restart ChiroServer Tools & Backup and retry the ZIP backup. This is a permission/ownership issue regarding creation of the backup file. Running ChiroServer Tools & backup as a windows administrator allows it to work as intended.
Unfortunately Pulse Software cannot offer free support & assistance with Windows Networking, Windows File Sharing or other Windows Network setup issues. During installation of the Server we have pictures and help for what to do. Remember if Windows is not setup, infected or corrupted ChiroPulse cannot run effectively or at all.
